STUNNING Vintage Murano Venetian Italian Art Glass Vase Pitcher Sculpture, Ercole Barovier for Barvoier & Toso, Bollincine Glass, Applied Prunts, Wing/Fin Handle & Foot, Handmade, Hand Blown, 20th Century, Circa 1930s, Italy! In EXCELLENT condition for age!

No cracks, chips, or repairs. Some typical wear with age.

Rough pontil/pontil scar base (see photo). Applied prunts have rough shape & edges by design. Applied fin handle has rough edge bottom of pulled string of glass; not a break or repair here, but by artist in making.

Natural artist imperfections as a handmade, hand blown work of art glass. White spots flash from camera. Colors may vary slightly depending on your computer screen. BEAUTIFUL, museum quality vintage Murano art glass for the collector! An intriguing, striking work & find.

Possibly an earlier Barovier & Toso work. Internally decorated bollicine (bubbles) glass with applied prunts, wing or fin handle, and foot. Zig-zag striped pattern in plum, red, yellow. 3 applied star-like form prunts in crystal glass. So many wonderful artistic details to this rare work! Rough pontil base (see photo). One of the most accomplished & acclaimed Murano glass designers of the 20th century, his popular designs from 1950s include his highly-collectible ribbed gold leaf-filled forms known as cordonato oro.

Ercole Barovier works are highly sought after for their striking, daring design and complex techniques. SIZE: 8 1/4" h to top of vase; 8 3/4" h to top of handle; 3 1/4" w base; 15" around; 2 5/8" across opening; 1 1/2"x1 3/8 prunts.
