Vintage Vetro Artistico Veneziano Murano (AVEM) Glass Cat & Dog Figurine

Murano Dog & Cat Figurine. A whimsical Murano figurine of a cat and a dog, with its original sticker for Vetro Artistico Veneziano. Both blown in glass with silvery inclusions, cased om clear glass and coloured backs, the cat with a green collar, the dog with red. The figurine was probably designed by Giulio Radi, renowned for developing the use of internal silver foil/flecks and complex internal decorations. Giulio Radi founded AVEM in 1932, where he developed experimental glass techniques and exhibited at major Italian art events. In excellent condition, no chips, cracks or other issues.
