This is a lovely Italian Venetian Murano wedding cake bead necklace and earring set. The necklace has 15 handmade wedding cake beads with brass bead caps separated by small beads and sparkling handmade aventurine beads. The base of the wedding cake beads are periwinkle blue slag glass with slight swirls of lighter blue. The beads are then layered with wide bands of "gold" aventurine, embellished with pink roses, blued dotted flowers with yellow centers, and drizzled with more gold glass in zigzag patterns. The necklace has a cylindrical barrel clasp of aged brass in good working order. The filigree bead caps also have an aged finish to the metal.
