VINTAGE RETRO ITALIAN MURANO LARGE PINK ALABASTRO GLASS VASE SEGUSO. Presenting a wonderful vintage Murano large pink Alabastro art glass vase. This vase holds a wonderful form. The opening of the vase features an interesting rolled rim which lightly flares out. This gives an almost mushroom shaped look to the vase. From this the vase shows a cylindrical body, subtly tightening in at its mid section to seamlessly and gently flare out at its base.

The colouring is an Alabastro pink showing excellent transparency. The end result of the vase as a whole creates a most desireable visual appeal and shows the skill of the master glass artist who made this piece.

It is more than likely this vase was made by Archimede Seguso as the style is greatly attributable. This vase also has a beautifully ground and polished base. This great sized vase measures 22cm in diameter at the widest part at the flared rim, 13.4cm in diameter at the base and stands 18cm tall. Presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repars. There is the usual age related wear to the polished base which is mentioned for accuracy.
