Vintage Retro Italian Murano Art Glass Bowl

VINTAGE RETRO ITALIAN MURANO ART GLASS BOWL. Presenting a wonderful vintage Murano art glass bowl. This Murano bowl features a beautiful design. Three lip folds appear to the edge of the bowl, curving and flowing in a wonderful organic freeform design. The fluid like quality is amazing and looks spectacular.

The colourway is a deep Ocean blue within which an amazing array of controlled bulles known as bullicante appear. The whole design truly accentuates the aspects of this bowl as light passes through high visual optics are apparent creating distortions and sparkling superbly. This bowl also has a beautifully ground and polished base. This bowl measures 18cm across at its widest point in diameter and stands 7.5cm at its tallest point.

This bowl is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a blob of different coloured glass internally at the base and a few hair sized streaks of glass to the body obviously done during the hand blowing of this piece and mentioned for accuracy.
