Vintage Purple & Pink Italian Murano Glass Ashtray Bowl

Vintage Italian Murano Art Glass Bowl. This piece of vintage art glass is in excellent condition. It is hand made, and is a piece of vintage Venetian glass from the famous island of Murano.

It is beautiful sculptural piece and features'pulled' edges and curled sides. It would have been designed as an ashtray but now could be used for flowers with the use of some oasis or as a bon bon dish ir simply for display.

The piece is in excellent condition, there are no chips or cracks, scuffs or scratches. The underside is cut and polished with tiny bevels to the edges. Some of these tiny cut bevels are slightly uneven.

There are some small included bubbles within the glass. It measures 180mm across the middle and 225mm across the diagonal. It stands around 85mm tall.
