Vintage Pauly & Co Compagnia Venezia Murano Glass Necklace & Earrings 1980's

Two piece set consisting of a beaded glass, three strand necklace and logo clasp earrings produced by Pauly & Co. CVM Italy in the 1980's. The necklace measures approximately 18" in length and the earrings have a diameter of 1.25". Both are in excellent condition. Beautiful bright colors, statement piece.

An historic glassworks in Murano, Pauly & Co. CVM, continues the artistic, aesthetic and commercial spirit of ancient Venetian glass workers to this very day. The company dates back to 1866 when a group of British business men decided to invest their capital in recovering traditional glass working methods and in training master glass workers. At the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1898, Compagnia Venezia Murano presented a reproduction of the ancient "murrina" technique, which has since become the symbol of Murano glass.
