Vintage Murano Style Yellow Scavo Art Glass Vase Pair Attr Cenedese/Seguso

Matching pair of Vintage Italian-Style Hand Blown Art Glass Vases. Beautiful two-piece set features a vibrant canary/lemon color palette finished in the distinctive "Scavo" (excavated) technique, expertly formulated to mimic ancient archaeological or stone textures. Each piece is adorned with dramatic, hand-applied satin black glass scrollwork handles. While unsigned, this set features textbook attributes highly inductive of mid-century Murano production from a master furnace, sharing striking design similarities with historical works by Gino Cenedese and Archimedean Seguso. Large Vase has a rough unpolished pontil scars where the blowpipe was snapped away during the hot-tooling process -a hallmark signature of genuine artisan-blown studio glass.

The base of the smaller vase retains original, heavily oxidized silver/gold metallic foil label remnants. The pontil mark is ground smooth. Under the Microscope, inspection reveals a traditional scalloped/oval shape, consistent with vintage mid-century Italian stickers.

Large vase is 10" tall and base is "3 1/2. Smaller vase is 7 1/4" tall and base is 4 1/2".

Both vases are in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs to the body or handles. The Scavo textured coating remains intact and beautiful.
