Vintage Murano Style Badash Crystal Glass Sculpture

A tour de force of color and modernism. The hand-blown curving rod with many strands of color running through the clear glass. It rests on a clear crystal base.

The shape reminds me of either an ampersand or of a clef. There is a clear label with the words MURANO GLASSWARE in gold and black lettering on one side of the crystal base. The piece was produced by Basash Crystal in Murano, Italy. 12" (4.7 cm) tall x 5 ½" (14.0 cm) long x 3 (7.6 cm) wide.
