VINTAGE Murano Sommerso Textured BLUE & GREEN GLASS BOWL

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This design was made by Mandruzzato, and possibly other factories. In a stunning combination of green glass cased in a band of blue and clear glass, which is further encased in a part angular, part bark textured block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
