Vintage Murano Sommerso Art Glass Vase Mid-century, Italy Flavio Poli Style
Beautiful vintage Murano sommerso glass vase, hand-blown in Italy c. Features an amber core with green overlay encased in clear crystal, using the classic sommerso technique.
Its elegant split-top form creates dramatic lines and a sculptural quality, making it both a functional vase and a decorative statement piece. The interplay of amber and green tones glows beautifully in natural light, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship of Murano glassmakers. Collectable piece of authentic Murano mid-century glass.
Based on the shape and colouring, it was made by Seguso Vetri dArte or Mandruzzato, but exact attribution without a label or signature is very difficult. Using double-boxing, bubble wrap, and protective padding to guarantee safe arrival. Measurements 140 x 90 x 60 mm 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 3/8 Weight: 570 g unpacked. Condition: Excellent vintage condition - no chips, cracks, or repairs. Perfectly polished base with hardly any shelf ware.
