Vintage Murano Glass Sommerso Mandruzzato Faceted Bowl Smoked Gray and Clear

Up for sale is this beautiful vintage Murano glass Sommerso faceted small bowl or ashtray. The shape reminds me of a diamond. This design is attributed to Mandruzzato circa 1970s. It stands at 4 7/8 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches tall. The hole in the middle is about 2 1/4 inches across.

Lovely smoky gray and clear glass. This art glass has a great weight to it, quite heavy for its size. Made with great craftsmanship and excellent material. This is a great addition to your mid century glass collection.

It is in very good condition, there are no cracks. The only very minor flaw I can see is this very tiny (pin-sized) fleabite at the base / bottom, hardly noticeable - see last photo. Please see photos for a more detailed description of this item.
