Vintage Murano Glass Large 13.5 Arte Nuova Pustetto & Zanetti Vase/Sculpture

Vintage MCM Murano Arte Nuova Pustetto & Zanetti designed Sommerso Vase. Vases of this design type were shown at the 1958 World Fair in Brussels. For more examples of this design you can look at the 20th Century Glass site as there is an entire section devoted to this furnace. The color is mixed between a beautiful light blue and opalescent white.

It is 13.5" x 9" x 5 and weighs a hefty 7#. The condition of this is essentially like new and the only marks I see are miniscule tool marks made in production and a few tiny bubbles in the glass. I bought this about 20 years ago (after I removed the sticker without knowing back then I should have left it) and it has been stored in a cabinet since. I belong to multiple art glass collector groups and have seen a few of this shape with labels intact. Note: the first pic was taken near a white gardening light and the rest were in a room with incandescent lighting which is a bit yellow.

Please note that essentially all of my listed glass is vintage and may have the slightest of wear. If there is anything that stands out, I try my best to describe and photo it. I want my buyers to by happy with what they receive. For more fragile and delicate pieces I will double box and/or add some further reinforcement. I know how disappointing it is to receive a broken rare piece of beautiful handmade art like this.
