Vintage Murano Glass Fruit Bowl, 1950s

This bowl is a vintage Italian Murano glass basket, often referred to as a "sommerso" (submerged) art glass piece due to its layered color technique. Design: It features a vibrant combination of emerald green and amber-yellow glass, designed with a central handle and a flowing, handkerchief-style rim. Style: This style of art glass became popular in the mid-20th century, particularly in the 1950s.

Maker: Manufactured in a furnace in Murano, Italy. Usage: It is designed strictly as a decorative centerpiece or sculpture rather than for functional daily use. I knew how particular he was about the model cars, (my sons and daughter were never allowed to play with them even though they looked like toys). I was so far below my depth though in my misunderstanding about the culture of the model car collectors, the many different facets of the cars and so shocked at the vicious cruelty of the collectors when the item was missing something I never knew was there and could not discern from the photos of exact same models. Still, I have had some unwarranted negative reviews which is so frustrating, because the problems occurred after the items left my hands. There are some things that are just out of my control.

The only way to protect myself from same, is to be proactive. Please forgive the intrusion of addition communication.
