Vintage Murano Blue Art Glass Clown By Vittorio Angini Silver Hallmarked Figure

Original VERY RARE Murano hallmarked designer art glass figure with 800 silver top & base. The mid section is hand blown by Vittorio Angini from Venice. Information from a vintage Italian collectors book indicates that the originals were possibly made to be card holders. This figure is in wonderful condition being over 70 years old. Weight is approximately 85 to 90 grams.

Vittorio Angini is an Italian artist known for his glass and silver sculptures, including these clown figurines. These specific clowns are part of the "Pagliacci D'Argento Collection" (Silver Clowns Collection).
