Vintage Murano Barbini Purple Blue Gold Fleck Bowl Ashtray Controlled Bubbles

Exceptional vintage Murano art glass ashtray, likely crafted by Alfredo Barbini. This striking piece features a rich combination of amethyst and blue glass, accented with controlled bubbles and shimmering gold (or copper) aventurine flecks, a classic hallmarks of mid-century Murano glasswork.

It rests on a light blue foot and has a bold, sculptural presence. Very heavy for its size, weighing in at 3 pounds 6 ounces, it reflects the high quality and craftsmanship associated with Barbini's work. The color combination is particularly vivid, and this is the first example I have owned in this color way. Weight: 3 lb 6 oz.
