Vintage MCM Murano Glass Rooster Multicolor gold aventurine Paul's Products NOS

Fabulous Murano Art Glass Rooster. Imported circa 1950s or 1960s by Paul's Products EEP & Co of New York from Italy.

New Old Stock has original label and no chips or cracks. Approximately 9-3/4" tall x 6" wide. The fabulous colors appear when the piece is backlit.

If in a low light setting you see mostly the gold aventurine as shown in the photo with the black background. Who is "Paul's Products"? PAUL AND COMPANY (EPP&CO) was once the largest importer of ceramics and housewares on the east coast.

They opened their doors in 1898 in Brooklyn New York and eventually had a very large warehouse in NJ. Most of their goods were made in Italy (glassware) and Japan (ceramics & porcelain) some was made in Germany, France and even Czechoslovakia.

The company closed in the early 1970's.
