Vintage Lamp Murano Glass Bullicante with Gold Inclusions White Glass San Marco

Vintage Genuine Murano Art Glass Lamp. This beautiful and rare lamp is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The gorgeous glass table lamp has been hand crafted and features mouth blown glass created on the famous Venetian island of Murano. The lamp is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It has been re-wired so that the piece complies with modern Australian safety standards.

It has been tested and tagged by an electrician. The cord is a clear colour.

The lamp dates to between the 1950's-1970's and was made by San Marco. I know this as I have a lamp of identical construction that still has its original sticker. The lamp measures 30cm tall to the base of the fitting. It measures approximately 17cm in diameter at the base. From the base of the lamp to the top of the shade it measures 53cm tall. It has its original hand made vintage shade that is not perfect in condition but compliments the piece beautifully. The original brass collars to the joint at the base and the base of the fitting have darkened with the patina of age and are not the bright shiny golden colour they would have originally been. They could be polished up if desired. This is an exceptionally beautiful piece of glass.

The fact that the beauty & form of Murano glass and the function of a table lamp combine in this piece makes it extra special.
