Vintage Italian Murano Salviati Venetian Art Glass Flower Candlestick Holder

VINTAGE ITALIAN MURANO SALVIATI VENETIAN ART GLASS FLOWER CANDLESTICK HOLDER. FABULOUS ITALIAN MURANO ART GLASS CANDLE HOLDER ATTRIBUTED TO THE MASTER GLASS ARTIST SALVIATI. Presenting an exquisite vintage Murano glass flower shaped candlestick holder. This exceptionally fine piece has been expertly hand crafted into the stylised form of a flower, with larger leaves forming the foot and delicately tooled petals surrounding the candle hollow. This superb piece is beautifully coloured with delicate streaks of fresh green encased within the clear glass form and a lavish quantity of gold foil aventurine inclusions glistening throughout. The gold inclusions add a dazzling sparkle to the glass and would look truly divine with the warm flickering glow of candlelight reflecting off their surface. Each individual leaf and petal has been beautifully textured with ribbed tool marks. The ribbing accentuates the sparkle of the glass and again would be further enhanced with the illumination of candlelight.

This is an expertly hand crafted piece which has been beautifully finished by a master Italian glass artist. While it is an unsigned example, this piece was more than likely produced by the master glass artist, Salviati. This magnificent piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This superb piece stands approx 65mms tall and measures 110mms in diameter.
