VINTAGE ITALIAN MURANO GREEN BULLICANTE ART GLASS BOWL WITH LABEL MID CENTURY. EXQUISITE EXAMPLE OF QUALITY VINTAGE MURANO GLASS COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL LABEL. Presenting an exceptionally fine vintage Murano art glass bowl expertly hand crafted by a master Italian glass artist circa 1960s. This stunning piece has been crafted in a striking rich green coloured glass.
The glass has been expertly tooled to form an appealing waved rim with gorgeous thick curved lobes of glass to the underside radiating light throughout the form. A stunning array of bullicante control bubbles are encased within the bowl, adding a gorgeous jewel-like sparkle to the glass. The entrapped air bubble gently increase in diameter as they approach the rim of the bowl, perfectly following the sleek contour of the form. This stunning piece looks amazing with light passing through the glass, magnificently intensifying the radiant green colour, reflecting off the bubbles and casting vibrant reflections.
The rich green colour becomes electrified with a magical intensity as it reflects off the thick lobes and sleek curves of the form. This exceptional Murano glass vase is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This stunning piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. The original red and silver foil label, with minor wear noted for complete accuracy, remains in place to the base wonderfully identifying this fine example as a genuine vintage Murano glass piece. The original label reads "Vetroartistico Veneziano Hand Made Genuine Venetian Glass Made in Murano Italy". There are sufficient light surface scratches to the quality flat ground, polished base to authenticate this is a genuinely vintage example. This impressive piece stands approx 68mms tall and measures 170mms in diameter. This piece weighs 1.1kgs unpackaged.
