This exquisite piece features an expertly modeled dolphin or fish cr. Afted in rich cranberry pink glass with stunning applied clear glass facial features and fins which glisten with a lavish amount of real gold aventurine inclusions. The delightfully curved body of the leaping dolphin creates a fabulous sense of fluid movement to the solid form.
The dolphin stands proudly upon a wide and stable concave glass base of matching cranberry pink coloured glass. Exquisite ribbing to base and the dolphins body magnificently accentuate the stunning sparkle of the glass, while the tooled crimping to the applied glass features radiates the light through the glittery inclusions. The expert skills of the master Italian glass artist is evident at first glance! This is an exceptionally attractive and masterfully hand crafted vintage example. This impressive piece stands approx 390mms tall from base to the top of the bakelite fitting, the glass measuring approx 285mms tall excluding all fittings and measuring 150mms in diameter at the base.
