Presenting an exceptional miniature Cordonato D'oro (Gold rope) 1950s Italian Murano art glass vase designed by Ercole Borovier for Borovier & Toso. This exquisite piece features a lavish amount of real gold aventurine inclusions.
The gold forms spiraling stripes which perfectly follow the contour of the ribbed form. The interior of the vase is cased in a glistening opalescent white, which sparkles with fiery red opalescent tones. The fineness of the craftsmanship, masterful techniques and exceptional finish combine to create a most appealing example of 1950s Italian Murano art glass.
This exceptional example is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.This fine piece stands approx 70mms tall, measures 90mms in length and 55mms in width. This piece is very well finished with a quality, flat ground polished base.
