VINTAGE CUT MURANO BLACK GLASS HINGED BOX W/ HAND PAINTED DETAIL & 24K GILDING. An incredibly beautiful and well made Murano black glass hinged box with olive cut-outs, hand painted decoration, 24K gilding and brass mounts. The box measures approximately 7 1/8" by 4 1/8" by 3 1/2 tall. Hinge is in good working order. The lid closes evenly with base.

There are some minor scratches to the gilding. The bottom edge of the lid is somewhat rough. There are a few minor surface scratches on the bottom and on the interior.

Paper label on the bottom is marked 2111. Painted on the back Decorato A Mano Murano Oro 24K (Hand Decorated Murano 24K Gold).
