Superb Vintage Murano Venetian Cobalt Blue Glass Lantern Bohemian Ceiling Light. The glass is what I would describe as Cobalt Blue in colour. Due to the colour of the glass it is suitable for use mood lighting but not for task or ambient lighting. It will make a really lovely feature light as it reflects on the close surrounding area. This is a large lantern and it measures 54cm in total height including the ceiling rose. The glass shade measures 38cm in height and 24cm in diameter. This item weighs 2 kg before packaging.

It takes a bayonet type bulb (bulb not included). The wall bracket that the lantern is shown hanging from in the photos is not included in the sale. This lantern is designed to hang from a ceiling.

This lantern is in good condition having surface patination to the metal commensurate with age and use. There are some small nibbles around the opening of the shade which are hidden by the metal fittings. I have shown this light fitting working and the two core flex appears to be in good order but I would still advise you to have it checked/tested before use and if necessary have it rewired to the standards required in your country of residence.
