Made in Murano, Italy with 24k Gold decoration and ceramic pasta signed by. In perfect condition, coming with box and Certificate of Authenticity. Meticulously Cavalier Francesco Barbini and his wife has executed this Art piece and many other using the "Terzo Fuoco" technique. The name of this technique, means three time in the oven. There are other names used for this technique because it takes inspiration from the Rococò and the Barocco periods. Materials used are gold 24K, ceramics colors and a special mixture of ceramic and glass. The "Terzo Fuoco" items goes through three principal phases. All phases are hand painted and in each stage the piece is cooked inside a special oven at 520C (about 968F). Before one piece is finished it is passed from hand to hand 27 times.

In the final stage of this painstaking technique, the item is cleaned and polished to make it truly unique. There is not a school available in the world for this discipline. There are not books that teach you or speak of this discipline, only few last Masters who can teach. My Parents, Doima and Francesco, company was founded in 1958. They melt the Art of the Blown Glass with the Graffito, creating this Decorations "Terzo Fuoco".

They have studied new decoration techniques to improve the perfection. Have exported the Art in all the world to: United States, Germany, Russia, Spain, Japan, etc. I was born in Venezia, Italy, and since my young age I was around my Father, a Murano Glass Master.

Unfortunately I was not able to blown glass, just design them. Today I like to collect Antique Murano Glass and resell after make sure the quality, design, and the authenticity of a Murano Glass.
