Large vintage 23cm x 16.5cm Murano 2 fish aquarium glass block 1960s Cenedese. Made on the island of Murano, Italy Numerous of glassworks such as Cenedese, Saviati & Co. Aureliano Toso etc have made similar pieces to each other. Measures approx 23cm x 16.5cm.

In very good condition with no chips, cracks, bruises or serious scratches. There are a few minor light surface marks on both sides, but these are hardly noticeable. This is a very heavy piece, weighing just over 3.8kg! I always inspect items in great detail and list any major faults such as cracks & chips in the description. You should expect some age related signs of wear such as very small fine surface scratches/marks.

Also many of the items are hand made, they may have small imperfections such as bubbles, inclusions & lumps within the glass and often tool marks from where they have been shaped and worked in the manufacturing process. These are not usually seen by collectors as faults or damage, but as part of the character of hand made glass and are not usually mentioned in the description.
