Vintage Murano Alfredo Barbini Pink & Black Shell Art Glass Bowl Ash Tray 1950's

Mid century bowl from the 1950s - 1960s was made by Alfredo Barbini for Weil Ceramics & Glass, Murano Italy. Piece featuring a heavy Pink & Gold encase Black bowl with controlled bubbles. Alfredo Barbini has become renowned for his heavy, thick sculptural forms which have won him many awards.

Approximate Measurements: 6.5 " long, 5 " wide at the widest spot and 3 tall. Condition: Piece has normal age marks. Plus, one chip on the side, please see the last 3 pictures where I tried to capture this flaw.

The black glass is very hard to photography. The piece was damaged when is slide off the coffee table. Item will still make a nice addition to your collection.
