The box set in to gilded ornate brass mounts ; has hinged lid (hinge works properly) and decorative clasp. Simple yet elegant casket stands 2 1/4" (5.8 cm) high; 5 " x 3 1/4 (13 x 8.5 cm) rectangular. Condition is very good to excellent considering age.

No chips or cracks, no hairlines or breaks. A little tarnish on ormolu mounts otherwise just fine. Please see pictures for details, they are part of my description.
