VINTAGE ITALIAN MURANO PINK & BLUE CASED SILVER AVENTURINE ART GLASS VASE. EXQUISITE EXAMPLE OF QUALITY VINTAGE ITALIAN MURANO ART GLASS. Presenting a stunning vintage Italian Murano art glass vase. This exceptional piece was expertly hand crafted by a Master Italian glass artist circa 1960s.

This stunning piece has a beautiful tall, sleek form and an exquisite cased colour combination. This expertly crafted piece features an outer layer of rich and radiant magenta pink suspended sommerso style within the clear glass form. A crisp opaque white layer is sandwiched between the outer pink layer and a most exquisite layer of vibrant blue to the interior. A spattering of glistering silver aventurine inclusions floats atop the pink layer, adding a gorgeous jewel-like sparkle to opposing sides of the vessel. The crisp white inner layer magnificently accentuates the intensity and richness of the inner and outer layers. Exquisite shades of radiant purple are created as the layers of colour blend and combine. This stunning piece stands on a slender base and beautifully swells in size towards the beautifully waved rim which perfectly flaunts the triple layers of encased colour. The layers of colour are encapsulated within a thick, clear glass outer casing which has been expertly tooled to form thick lobes of ribbed glass which perfectly follow the sleek contour of the form and add a stunning sparkle to the glass. This stunning piece looks amazing with light illuminating the glass, magnificently intensifying the radiant colours, glistening off the aventurine inclusions and casting vibrant reflections.

This piece is presented in good vintage condition with just one small and shallow slither of a chip right between two of the waves upon the rim. This is noticeable only on incredibly close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. This exquisite piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.

This piece is beautifully finished with a concave polished pontil mark to the base. There are sufficient light surface scratches to the base to authenticate this is a genuinely vintage example.

This impressive piece stands approx 270mms tall and measures 130mms in diameter. This substantial piece weighs just under 2.5kgs unpackaged. This superb piece would make an outstanding addition to any quality vintage Italian Murano art glass collection.
