Vintage Italian Murano Glass Rise & Fall Pendant Light Fitting Mazzega? Very heavy Murano glass bell shaped light fitting. Beautiful thick clear glass with amber mottled/stripe decoration that is more pronounced on the rim. The light is made in Italy with highly polished lacquered brass fittings and a rise and fall suspension wire mechanism to adjust the height.
Takes one standard bayonet (BC) light bulb. Unknown designer but possibly produced by Mazzega. Diameter of glass shade = 39.5 cm.
Length of glass shade = 32.5 cm. Drop = min 55 cm max 145 cm. Please see all photos at the top of the listing. Working order, glass in great condition with no chips or cracks, some very minor marks to the fitting (see pics).It is recommended that all vintage lamps and lighting are checked by a qualified electrician even if they are shown to be working or have recently been rewired. Within the description and the photographs that form part of this items condition report any major damage or flaws will have been pointed out such as cracks, chips and large scratches. Light bulbs that have been used (especially filament bulbs) do not transport as well as new light bulbs.
