This exceptional piece has a sleekly curved, clean-line form and a striking colour combination. This exquisite piece has been spectacularly coloured with a stunning layer of radiant green within the base, blending smoothly to a divine cognac red at the rim. The exquisite colours spectacularly blend and combine to create a magnificent range of radiant twilight tones. The colours magnificently radiate throughout the sleek form, glowing with a magical intensity as they reflect off the sleek curves and thick rim. The glass has been expertly tooled to form sleekly curved sides with overturned ends.
Thick lobes of glass have been formed under the slender, overturned ends, spectacularly radiating light throughout the form. This exquisite piece looks amazing with light passing through the glass, wonderfully intensifying the radiant colours and casting vibrant reflections. This piece is presented in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is one scratch to the exterior which could be polished out and is barely noticeable when viewed from above. There are also a few exceptionally light and fine surface scratches to the interior, noticeable only on extremely close examination in bright raking light but mentioned for complete accuracy. Most would never even notice this let alone mention it. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This piece has been well finished with a quality flat ground polished base. There are sufficient light surface scratches to the base to authenticate this is a genuinely vintage example.This impressive piece stands approx 80mms tall, measures 225mms in length and 155mms in width. This piece weighs 1.125kgs unpackaged. This superb piece would make an outstanding addition to any quality vintage Italian Murano art glass collection.
