This bowl features an amazing tropical blue coloured centre that slowly melts into warm, rich cranberry towards the waved rim. The result is simply divine! To the outside of the bowl, five double "ribs" rise vertically before melding into globular arches. The result is spectacular and purely organic! This design captures, distorts and radiates light superbly and creates the most amazing optics!!! This superb Vintage Murano Art Glass Bowl displays all of the characteristics that we have come to expect of quality Murano Pieces. The glass shows superb clarity and vibrancy, the colouring is spectacular, the balance and symmetry is perfect and the form is purely amazing. It is easy to see that this bowl has been crafted by a master Italian Glass Artist. This piece rests upon a finely ground and polished base. A superb addition to any Murano Collection. This impressive piece measures approximately 23cm in diameter and stands 9cm in height. Unpackaged weight is approximately 1.93kg. Presented in beautiful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. As this is a vintage piece, there is the odd scratch here and there as expected. This in no way detracts from the piece whilst on display and is noticeable only upon close inspection. The polished base of the bowl also shows age related scuffing.
