STUNNING VINTAGE ITALIAN MURANO AMBER GREEN & GOLD AVENTURINE ART GLASS BOWL. EXQUISITE EXAMPLE OF QUALITY VINTAGE ITALIAN MURANO ART GLASS. Presenting a stunning vintage Italian Murano art glass bowl. This exceptional piece was expertly hand crafted by a Master Italian glass artist circa 1960s.

This exceptionally impressive piece has been beautifully coloured with a layer of golden amber within the base, blending smoothly to a radiant green at the wide flared top rim. Fabulously think and chunky applied strappings, filled with a lavish quantity of sparkling gold aventurine inclusions, surround the centre of the bowl.

The thick strappings have been expertly tooled to form randomly sized cells with large encapsulated air bubbles which bubble over the surface of the sleek form, adding a striking sense of movement to the form. The dazzling aventurine filled strappings add a striking jewel-like sparkle to the glass, while adding an appealing texture to the design. The rich colours blend and combine to create a striking range of tones which refract throughout the sleek form. This stunning piece looks amazing with light passing through the glass, magnificently intensifying the radiant colours, glistening off the aventurine inclusions and casting vibrant reflections. This piece is presented in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

There is one tiny rough spot to the top rim, which on close inspection appears to be a small and stable bruise to the glass. This is noticeable only on incredibly close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. This exquisite piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This piece is beautifully finished with a concave polished pontil mark to the base. This impressive piece stands approx 155mms tall, measures 305mms in length and 215mms in width.

This substantial piece weighs just under 3kgs unpackaged. This superb piece would make an outstanding addition to any quality vintage Italian Murano art glass collection. The timeless style and elegance of this exquisite vase ensures it would make a stunning feature in any well designed home.
