French Vintage Gilt Brass 4 Arm Ceiling Light Purple Murano Glass Droplets 1046. Lovely French antique gilt brass 4 light cage style chandelier with beautiful purple Murano glass droplets. The frame work is in scrolled cage style with four curved arms leading to round fluted candle drip sconces. The whole of the chandelier is adorned with 16 deep purple Murano glass droplets.

Each end of the twisted frame has a pretty double crystal glass flower feature. Around the top and bottom of the chandelier frame is a string of clear glass macaroni beads. The candle drips are the hard plastic type. The overall measurements are Height from top of ceiling rose to bottom of droplet 57 cm. Maximum Width 23 cm, Ceiling Rose Diameter 8 cm.

Approximate weight of 1.25. The light is in great antique condition with lovely aged patina and verdigris to be expected with age please see photos.

It as been cleaned but left unpolished so you can decide on the overall finish. The chain and bar are a little rusty but would clean up nice using the right product. The glass droplets, beads and flowers are in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. This is a rare find with all the glass intact and in such good condition.

Would be a beautiful addition to any room decor adding a touch of French glamour, great for lower ceilings.
