Aldo Nason withdrew from the firm to found a workshop of his own, leaving Egidio Ferro's sons Luciano and Giulio Ferro as owners of the firm. The Chinese have for the past 20-years been trying to copy Murano birds, free-forms, fish, sailboats, vases--producing inferior quality items that they mass-produce in China and flood the U. Market, trying to pass them off as genuine. Any item labeled " Murano Cristalleria Ann Primrose ", " Murano Minchella Collection ", " Murano Stile d'Art " " VEISES-MURANO " or " Murano Glassware " are easily recognized as one of the more common Chinese knock-off brands.
